Engineering interviewing at bunny.net

A deep dive with our VP of Engineering

Hello from our VP of Engineering

  • Hey! If you’re reading this, it means you’ve already taken the time to get to know us, and I just wanted to say a quick thanks. We know interviewing can be a bit nerve-wracking, so I put together some thoughts to help you feel more confident going in. This isn’t about trying to impress us. It’s about helping you show your thinking, your curiosity, and your approach to solving problems. Let’s dive in!

  • We've moved away from take-home assignments, and we feel that it's much better to talk to candidates and get to learn about their real-world experience.

  • Make sure to give really nice, clear, concise answers. Use real-world examples so that we can really see what you've built before.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The interviews take place on Google Meet.

  • The call typically lasts 1–2 hours and you may meet 2–4 people. Sometimes it’s split into two shorter sessions.

  • Be ready to share your screen during the interview if needed.
