CDN Support Engineer I
You’ll help developers around the world deliver faster, more reliable internet experiences while learning the ins and outs of edge infrastructure along the way.
About bunny.net
Some people accept the internet as it is. We see what it could be.
At bunny.net, we don’t wait for change. We make it happen. You won’t find layers of red tape or play-it-safe thinking here. You’ll find people who move quickly, take ownership, and push ideas all the way to the edge. Literally.
You’ll build things that solve actual problems, not add to them.
We’re not perfect, and we don’t pretend to be. But we’re always improving. We’re looking for people who want to do the same, who take pride in their work, and aren’t afraid to challenge what’s possible.
Because everyone deserves a better internet. And we’re here to help it hop faster.
CDN Support Engineer I
As a CDN Support Engineer I, you'll play a hands-on role helping developers deliver fast and reliable experiences across our global edge network, powered by 150 Tbps+ of capacity and 119+ edge locations worldwide.
This role is a great fit for someone who has already spent a few years supporting developer-facing infrastructure, whether in hosting, networking, cloud platforms, or video delivery, and wants to go deeper into the technologies that power the modern internet.
Our CDN Support Engineers own technical problems end-to-end, working directly with developers to diagnose issues, guide complex troubleshooting, and keep the internet running fast for the thousands of developers who trust bunny.net.
You won’t be figuring things out alone. Our Principal Support Engineers will coach you directly, working through real production issues together and helping you grow toward the responsibilities of a CDN Support Engineer II.
If your instinct when something breaks is to dig deeper until you understand why it happened, not just how to restore it, you’ll fit right in here.
Working hours:
You’ll rotate across support shifts and work alongside different Principal Support Engineers, gaining exposure to a wide range of production issues.
This role helps keep support coverage strong across shifts, which means stepping in to cover planned leave or unexpected absences. Being flexible around shifts is part of the role and comes with an additional shift allowance.
What will you do?
Help customers troubleshoot technical issues through Zendesk and Discord, providing clear explanations and effective solutions
Investigate delivery and performance issues involving caching, HTTP behavior, SSL/TLS, DNS configuration, and origin connectivity

Use tools like curl, traceroute, MTR, dig, and logs to analyze request flows and isolate production issues

Collaborate with our Engineering and Product teams when bugs or platform issues arise
Contribute improvements to internal troubleshooting guides and customer documentation
Share insights from customer interactions to help improve our platform and tooling
Continue developing your expertise in CDN architecture, caching systems, edge networking, and internet infrastructure
What will you bring?
3+ years of experience supporting developer-facing infrastructure such as hosting platforms, networking services, cloud environments, or video delivery systems
A solid understanding of core internet technologies, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, headers, TLS/SSL, and caching
Hands-on experience troubleshooting production issues affecting live customer traffic
